After looking at these two countries I have found some major differences. First off Nigeria, my ping, has a population of 173.62 million and Czech republic, my ped, has a population of 10.7 million. In addition Nigeria’s natural increase rate is 2.5% and Czech Republic’s is 0%. Plus my ping’s life expectancy is 52.51 and my ped’s is 77.69, that is a difference of 25.18 years! Nigeria also does not get as much health education as the Czech Republic as you can see since their % of population 15-49 years with hiv/aids is 3.1%, rather than less than 0.1% in the Czech Republic. Finally something that stood out to me was the difference in the GNI PPP per capita. In Nigeria it is 5,440 and in Czech Republic it is 24,534.55 which is a huge difference. I see now that lots of things go into being a developing country or a developed country. For example education, health, dependency rate, and even migration all take part in deciding wether or not a country falls to being a developing country or a developed country.
